EFMP strives to organize varied and engaging programming to build community and facilitate academic and professional career exploration. These events can include:
- Family meetings to facilitate mentorship of each family member
- Panel sharing by professional geologists and graduate students
- Seminars on mental health, diversity, and inclusion
- Social events in and around the Geology Building, such as our inaugural celebration
- Fun hikes around the Los Angeles area
